We are PETA-Approved Vegan

When we founded MRSÉY in 2018, one principle was particularly important to us: no animals should die for our products. After five years of existence, MRSÉY is now the proud owner of the 'PETA-Approved Vegan' certificate and this out of conviction, because nothing has demanded more stamina from our design and product development team in recent years than the continuous research into new materials. The result is our vegan PU, which feels as high-quality as real leather, but for which no animal had to suffer.

What does “PETA-Approved Vegan” mean?

The "PETA-Approved Vegan" certification is a rigorous testing process in which our products and their manufacturing processes have been checked to ensure that they do not contain any animal ingredients and have been produced without animal testing.

Why the search never ends

We are happy to have found a PU leather that is not only high quality but also durable (you can find out how we ended up with this material below). Plant-based leathers have also made huge progress in recent years, which we are of course following with enthusiasm, because plant-based leather could be an even more sustainable addition in the future. However, there are still compromises here at the moment and so far none of the plant-based materials are robust and diverse enough for our needs. NOT YET. The exciting thing is that new materials are constantly coming onto the market, which we of course always look at with great interest.
